Who am I?!
My name is Michael Jansen and I am an amateur photographer from Cologne, Germany. Recently I rediscovered my passion for photography and now I wander around my city every now and then to find the interesting perspectives on life, landscape and architecture.
After years with a Canon EOS 650D, I have now switched to a Canon EOS RP and, in addition to a set of ND filters, I also bought a Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM lens – used, but in very good condition. With this lens I decided to start a new project that you can find here in the Projects menu. This page will be filled bit by bit with more project ideas.
Current equipment
Here now a – not complete – list of my equipment. With the lenses I am, admittedly, still somewhat limited, but to rediscover photography and to train the eye for motives, more lenses are not really necessary.
If I should acquire more lenses, I will list them here.
Since lenses suitable for the RF mount are far too expensive for me at the moment, I probably won’t buy any for the time being, but will rely on the tried and tested, used EF lenses. Even the L-series is available at reasonable prices and in good condition.
On the wish list for this are currently the following lenses:
– Canon EF 24-70mm f/4 USM L (alternatively Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 USM L IS).
If and when I will buy these lenses is still up in the stars. First of all, I will start with what I already have.
